Gwyn has experience in working across organisational boundaries in order to improve complex problems.
She enjoys collaborating and using her skills in improvement tools and coaching to improve services, health outcomes and quality of life for people.
Gwyn is a practising GP in Leeds and also has clinical leadership roles at the Royal College of General Practitioners and at NHS Leeds Clinical Commissioning Group.
She is an improvement coach with one of the partners accredited to deliver the NHS commissioned Productive General Practice programme.
In her role at the CCG, Gwyn has been involved in identifying gaps in commissioned services in order to commission new models of care and working with providers to improve the quality of commissioned services. She works at board level as a member of the mental health strategic group and the care pathways governance group in Leeds and is able to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries.
Gwyn has a regional leadership role at the RCGP and is working across a footprint of several STPs.
Gwyn has postgraduate certificates in co-producing health and education in primary care from the University of Leeds. She is a trained coach (ILM5 accredited) and has practical experience in the use of improvement science.
