The aim is to develop a realistic, locally owned workforce capacity and capability plan to underpin the STP and reflect the overarching workforce strategy. This is being done by capturing a ‘first cut’ whole Northamptonshire workforce baseline, applying a high level ‘re-shaping’ exercise to achieve an initial ‘future fit’ with the STP direction of travel and examining the workforce transformation in each care pathway in varying levels of detail.
